2011-10-04 - to Back Creek, Sassafras River, MD
We did a lot of school today catching up for a few lost days due to high waves on the ocean. Half way in the day Kerry made a rash decision and decided that we would pull anchor and head out....to the other side of the creek. For the next 15 minutes we endured the days trek. The wind had shifted and was starting to get a little rocky. We moved to the other side which was more protected from the wind. I think I can handle a day like that! Kerry and Connor jumped in dinghy for a little exploration of our new surroundings. They stopped and turned the motor off for a bit of quiet and watched a lot of different types of birds. I love these days that we can just be with each other and 'hang out'!
