We enjoyed another quiet morning in the anchorage. We planned to depart at 11:30am so that we hit a rising tide when entering the next place we wanted to go to. We had a great sail there. The entrance here is a little tricky. You approach the entrance until you almost meet with the beach and then turn and run parallel with the beach. You also have to be strong going though the entrance because of the small opening and the large current. We approached both with caution and with boldness - and made it in. There was only one other boat in the anchorage. There was a beautiful marina there as well. We dinghied to shore to check it out. The marina store had cold beer and ice cream for sale. (I know at least 2 people in our party will be satisfied!). We noticed that they did have a laundry facility there so we dinghied back to the boat, loaded up our laundry, and headed back. Beside the laundry was a wonderful little park and a beach complete with real palm trees. We were there until dark, playing in he park and folding laundry. Connor tried doing the hanging rings and doing flips. He practiced for ages until he finally got it. He was so proud! We couldn't get him off near the end!
